®alec is a land of green gold - hops. Those who want to explore can follow the Pekel forest and geological nature trail as well as the hop trail. The latter includes all of ®alec's major landmarks: the Novo Celje manor house, the Vrbje pond, the archeological park at ©empeter with large Roman tombs and, last but not least, the hopgardens.
There are also two extremely popular destinations for mountaineers and recreationists nearby: the area's greatest karstic wonder, the Pekel cave, and Bukovica.
