Olimje was awarded a GOLD MEDAL in the category for the most beautiful village in Europe in 2009. To discover the beauties of Olimje, surrounded by a mosaic of pre-Alpine mountains, hills covered with vineyards and plains along the river Sotla, and to discover its heritage, you can either head on foot or by bike on marked walking paths and bicycle trails. You can also visit nearby towns and villages by a road train.

Wellness Hotel Sotelia is a very special hotel, its position, diverse structure and large bright areas create the feeling of harmonious connection with the green environment around it. MULTIPURPOSE SPORT HALL PODČETRTEK
All kind of indoor sports and other social events can be organized on 3400 m2 of multipurpose sports hall Podčetrtek. Hall has playgrounds for basketball, football, handball, volleyball, tennis, badminton and squash. For spectators there are 440 seats on retractable tribunes. The hall is equipped with 7,4 m climbing wall. The wall is suitable for learning and recreational sports climbing. This activity needs to be supervised by Climbing association AT Podčetrtek.

The tranquillity of Olimje's unspoiled nature will enchant you with its beautiful woods, vineyards, flowers, babbling brooks and sweet songs of birds. The symbol of this beauty is the golf course at Amon in Olimje.
